Quintessence Marble
Quintessence has several definitions; a refined essence or extract of a substance - the most perfect or typical example of a quality or class - the aspect of something regarded as the intrinsic and central constituent. Quintessence is also a term used for dark matter in physics, or the 5th state in alchemy. This technique is pure, intricate, unique and refined. A marble consisting of my favorite techniques and qualities of glass. Using only clear glass, gold and silver fume, an opal and some facets; a uniquely complex and coherent piece is brought to existence.
